We use a scientific approach for all ecological monitoring and we keep at the forefront of advances in ecological statistical analysis. See our publication list of examples of our experimental design and analytical capabilies
Our capabilities include:
Occupancy modelling; including all variants, i.e. dynamic, two-species, multi-method, multi-species occupancy models (for community level assessment) and N-mixture models to model abundance from count data. Can be done in Bayesian or maximum likelihood.
Capture-recapture modelling; including POPAN open models, Jolly-Seber, robust design and all variants of spatially-explicity capture recapture models. Can be done in Bayesian or maximum likelihood.
Genetics analysis - Diversity Arrays Technology (DArT) sequencing data.
Analysis of pedigrees, relationship assignment and relatedness.
Analysis of population structures; STRUCTURE analysis and principal coordinates analysis.
Standard genetic measures per individual or populations; inbreeding (Fis), genetic differentiation (Fst), heterozygosity, allelic richness, etc.
Identifying sex-linked genes.
